Dave Demarest, a journalist for The Mooresville Tribune, conducted a phone interview with two of Lake Norman Orchestra's Board members; Sherry Klepfer, President of LKNO and her husband, Walter Klepfer. The focus of the article is on LKNO's impressive growth and the need for community support, especially with respect to larger, dedicated rehearsal space. Read more of Dave´s article. For the Love of Music

Courtesy of "The Charlotte Observer"

Gayle Shomer, a photo-journalist for The Charlotte Observer, visited Lake Norman Orchestra to create a multimedia collage of photographs and sound-bites to get a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations for one of our concerts. Gayle visited the LKNO during their dress rehearsal for performing at Birkdale Village in Huntersville on August 5, 2006. At the event, Gayle added more snapshots to her visual documentary along with some "interesting" audio clips. Don´t worry Linda, no one will know those are your bare feet.

You can view Gayle´s artistic talent here. Thank you for the great coverage Gayle! LKNO hopes to see you again real soon.
